Half Moon Caye Wall…

Today we’re diving Half Moon Caye Wall. Twice. Why? Because twice as nice is better than once and longing for it for evermore. Half Moon Caye Wall is just gorgeous. Our dive master has been diving the wall for 8 years and still considers it just gorgeous. Most recently the shark that we think inhabit the Great Blue Hole in summer, but who seek warmer walls in winter and for three months after, seem to be drawn to Half Moon Caye. The better for us! Blue Hole day!

Eggs Benny after the Blue Hole anyone?? Chef really does know how to celebrate our dive at the Blue Hole in spectacular fashion, cooking up a spread “Ocean King Cousteau” would have enjoyed. Why you’d want to drag yourself out of bed in the pits of the night to join a 3 hour rollercoaster ride before plunging into the Blue Hole, and pay the equivalent of a new BCD for the privilege is anyone’s guess… Join a select few at Huracan Diving: enjoy a coffee and muffin, a leisurely 15 minute scenic trip within the calm atoll, an unhurried Blue Hole dive before the crowds, and then relish a full buffet back at our sunlit dining area. Big shout out to our fabulous guests Katrin, Gert, Mickey and Kathryn, Renata & Scott and Stig & Alexandra who welcomed back the SHARK in the Blue Hole today! Not seen for a few months (too cold maybe?), they were back in force today! All this knowing you’ve left behind the “cattle boats” chivvying their tens of customers back on board to follow a tight schedule to ensure they’re back before nightfall after a relentless day in and (mostly) out of the water. (A four night all inclusive package with us including the Blue Hole and 2 Half Moon Caye dives as well as 5 dives on Long Caye costs $1490usd per person – (based on 2 sharing) just gear rental and your bar tab on top of that. Yes. That does include transport from Belize City, King/Twin room with en-suite bathroom, all meals, all snacks, all dive refreshment, all dives (maximum...
